Thanks for having this up! There was a contest in 1987 for a school spirit . You had to write your high school name on a index card, and they take it to school. They were taking it to the local radio station. If you won you got a free concert by The Jets. Well our school won, Kenwood High in Essex MD. I'm proud of all the writing I did , and listening to the radio and hearing our competitive school lose was awesome. I screamed so loud when they announced our name! My best friend Bonnie and I went and it was awesome to see live as a teen.

I love the website and reading the information about them , things I  never knew.

I’m a 80’s baby and “The Jets” music was amazing back then. They were great looking kids that were so talented!! I wish the kids of today could experience listening to good music. This group brings me back to such great memories and I just want to thank them for being a big part of my younger years. Love you guys!

Hello Rob and thank you soooooo much for this site! I am such a huge fan of The Jets. I can remember the first time I ever heard "Crush On You" on the radio, I was hooked. The beat just was intoxicating and every time I heard it I just couldn't help myself I had to dance. Well I was and still am a huge fan and I still listen to their cd's in my car. Actually "Magic" is in my cd player now. I can remember entering the "Jets For A day" contest back on nickelodeon way back in the day, I didn't win but it wasn't from lack of trying. I do believe I drank my weight in Kool-Aid Koolers, I even rocked the mini hip clips with their songs. I was truly and pleasantly surprised to hear that they were reuniting earlier this year. I was so heartbroken that I wasn't able to attend the concert but time and scheduling with work didn't permit it. I did get the chance to see Leroy, Haini, and Rudy in Orlando when I was there for a Jett17 concert. They were amazing as well, the talent exudes from this family. I had the pleasure of attending a Jett17 concert twice in Orlando, both times it was amazing. I remember when I was in 11th grade I did my term paper on The Jets I got an "A". I lived to see anything on the Jets back then. I remember watching "Journey", The Ice Capades, I even performed "Rocket 2 U" in my 9th grade talent show, the crowd went wild and to this day that memory still is in my mind. I am still a super huge fan of the jets and wish them all well, special props to Liz for surviving breast cancer, my heart goes out to you. I think the question is who was your crush on the Jets? Well mine was all of them, I didn't want anybody to feel left out so I liked them all. Well keep up the good work with this site and again Thank you sooo soooo soooo much It does my heart good to still see the jets performing. May heavenly father continue to keep and bless you and yours Wolfgramm Family, Much Love and Mahalo..

What a great site Rob......Well done sir! I have to say The Jets have made some incredible songs, and unforgettable melodies that stick in your mind. I had the privilege to meet them in Tonga. Absolute magic...themselves and the concerts! Cheers and all the best!

Hey Rob, Nice job on this site! I'm a long time fan of The Jets and have their two cassettes and one CD. And I do still like them today!

Elizabeth Clower - Serra Mesa, CA - Sunday May 2nd, 2010 11:32 AM

I'm a huge fan of you guys, been so since I was a little kid. I even had a little crush on Liz then. I remember having your first album and playing it a lot! I feel so bad that I missed your reunion concert in Minneapolis. I live in Tampa now and I still listen to your songs. I wish you would do a concert out here. Also I wish you guys well! About Liz surviving cancer that is great! I have a personal story with that as well. In 2002 my mom passed away after a battle with ovarian cancer. It's always great news to see someone survive from that disease. Especially someone that I admire allot!

Hello Rob! Thank you for a great website! I'm a fan of the Jets from Japan. I'm glad to hear the Jets reunited  at their anniversary concert! I couldn't go there, but I felt they still live with music.

U Lala - Tokyo, Japan - Friday April 23rd, 2010 10:05 AM

I am a fan of The Jets and I always go into YouTube to listen to their music and any news about them. But  I found this website crushonthejets.com last night!

May I wish the group all the best for the future and may they again be a successful singing group like before.

Maliana Wolfgramm Tupou - Treasure Island, FL - Monday April 12th, 2010 7:19 PM

Rob, I wanted to start by letting you know how much my wife and I appreciated your generosity, hospitality and all the work you've put into this website over the years. I've said it before and i'll say it again, The Jets are very fortunate to have such a fan in you who would dedicate so much of his personal time to do this since they really don't have an official website of their own for fans to flock too. My wife also thought it very kind of you to send her a shirt as well since she wasn't the official winner, just the beneficiary of it, and such kindness doesn't go unnoticed....

The show was great! To have had the opportunity to meet them all before the show made it even more special, they are so down to earth and make you feel as though they have known you for years. It was like you were a part of their very large family, adopted for the night! The rest of the family we encountered before and after the show were also just as sweet and kind, that make you feel at home vibe! That made the anticipation for the start of the show even greater, knowing it was going to be the show of our lives, and it didn't disappoint. Never being able to see them live in the past, we didn't really know what to expect other than what we know about the group and what we've seen on TV in the past.

I have to say, the opening act "Twin City" with Natalia on lead was a seamless, perfect funk/r&b/ fusion transition into what we had all been waiting for THE JETS! It's obvious the entire family is talented beyond belief and it showed. Then the main attraction, and it exceeded our expectations! They sounded, danced and grooved as good if not better than they did back in the day. When they broke it down old school and went a'capella they showed their voices were intact, on point, and better than ever, letting everyone know that lip-syncing is not in their repertoire! I loved that they did a few tracks that are more obscure and mixed them in with their biggest hits, and when they did their hits, it was like going back in time to the 80's. Their sound and moves were so fluid and mimicked their videos with pinpoint accuracy some 20 years later, now that's impressive!

The only thing I missed was that they didn't play longer, singing "I Do You" and "Private Number", and one of my all time favorites "The Same Love". That being said, if that's the only thing I can say about a show that was missing, that's what I call a perfect reunion show! It would have been considered that 20 years ago it was so good. Since then, I've been very melancholy and happy at the same time because something I had been missing in my life and had taken 24 years to come to fruition, finally did.....seeing the best pop group to ever hit the music scene live in all their glory, grown up and sharp as a tack! I will cherish these memories for years to come and look forward to their next show. I thank them for doing this for the fans, I thank Rob for making sure we knew about it, and I give the show a 5 out of 5, and the biggest accolade I give anything....... this show was the BOMB DIGGITY FRESH!

Chris Hart - Indianapolis, Indiana - Monday April 12th, 2010 10:24 AM

The show was amazing! By far, the best Jets concert ever! There's something about the chemistry between Moana and Elizabeth when they're singing together that's just incredible and that you don't find in other bands. Everyone did a great job! Kathy worked the keys flawlessly...... Eddie did some awesome dancing....... LeRoy was terrific on guitar........ Haini did a great job with bass and Rocket 2U....... Rudy's vocals were terrific, and the King of Pop would feel honored at Rudy's tribute!
The Polynesian dance by Mrs.Wolfgramm and all of the Wolfgramm sisters was amazing! And "Twin City" was smoking hotl! I loved it!! Also, it was so awesome to see the entire family up on stage at the end. Can't wait to see you guys again.

Mike D. - New Jersey - Sunday April 11th, 2010 10:22 PM

Thank you Jets for the good times together! Finally I got to see and greet all of you and share some good memories. I loved the concert with all the dance of the 80's, that brought back the fun of that era! Thanks for my picture with Moana, Haini, and LeRoy. Rudy you rock it with that camera at Mall Of America! It was also good seeing Maliana, Natalia, Donnie, Tiare, Kelela, and Mika perform as well as your mom Vake!

Yes you did feel the song "Make It Real" with emotion, and the last song you did together with the whole family was the best! Thanks for the lovely picture book and autographs! And lastly, thanks to you Rob for keeping The Jets real to the fans!

Schurr L - New Jersey - Sunday April 11th, 2010

The show was beyond awesome!  It took me back in time and made me dance and sing and act just like a high schooler all over again!  Getting to meet the group was an experience that I will never forget, everyone was wonderful and so friendly, they made you feel like part of their family.  I loved it when we took the group picture, and instead of saying "cheese", I said " I Do You".  Liz looked at me with big eyes and said " Oh my God, I forgot the words to that song". I started singing it, she picked up on it and we actually did a short duet together.  Even better was LeRoy saying "Hey, you rocked it, you do know our songs"!

This was so special of a time, I don't think words will describe how moving it was to see them up there, and how hearing Liz sing "You Got It All", and "Make It Real" brought me to tears. Would I do it again?? YES!!!  They will always be number one in my book. To all of them, THANK YOU for bringing the magic back to us. I will never forget the night, the music, or the love that was in that theatre.

Robert Boone - Houston, TX - Sunday April 11th, 2010

Oh my - What a blast from the past!  You may not remember, but we lived on the northwest corner of Fish Lake in Maple Grove, Minnesota, in the 1980s when there were only a few houses there (we were the 4th).  The original band members (as well as the younger kids) would occasionally crash at my house after church!Dawn-Marie was our live-in Nanny at the time and ALL of you would go upstairs for a nap in her room. Later the guys would watch sports programs on TV in our family room. Do you remember?

I have two adopted children who were born in the 1980s and we listened to your music all the time. I enjoyed following your musical careers. I remember that you lived on Cedar Island Lake (where two of my sisters lived with their families at the time) and you later moved to a larger home on Lake Minnetonka. I also remember the twins being young toddlers!  What a lovely family you are.  As Mike and Vake are grandparents many times over (did I hear 38?!), we became grandparents only recently for the first time. Over the years I lost track of all of you.  Just after Dawn-Marie had a beautiful daughter, I lost track of her as well. It would be nice to see pictures of each of you with your families on the website.  Those of you who are pictured now sure look happy!

Thank you for awakening the memories by coming back to the Twin Cities this week!  And thanks for the years of beautiful music! Best of everything to all of you!

Wilson Willie Edwards - Minnesota - Thursday April 8th, 2010

I am from New Zealand and I have seen "The Jets" in concert twice when they toured here in 1989 to New Zealand. I have always been a fan of "The Jets" since 1986 and I would have love to fly over to the US and see their concert on the 9th, April (this weekend) but obviously I won't be able to make it there (for personal reasons). Anyway, I am a Tongan National,  "Malo Lelei" to  "The Jets" members on behalf of Tongan fans here in Auckland, New Zealand. 'Ofa Atu

Si Pal - Auckland, New Zealand - Tuesday April 6th, 2010

My mom just e-mailed me a link the Minneapolis Star Tribune article on you – COOL! Congratulations on your Anniversary Concert; I wish I lived closer to Minneapolis.

I remember Quasar playing at the Radisson Hotel in Brooklyn Park…being a high schooler, my parents had to go with my friend, Shirley, and I so we could get in to see you. That was so lame at the time.

You played an awesome concern in the Cooper auditorium with the pyrotechnics and all, and then played at our Prom at the Sheridan South in Edina…Man, so many girls hated that because you were taking Eugene & Leroy (my personal favorite, by the way) out of the prom-date pool!  I still have my “Crush on You” cassette tape…it’s under my TV right now! Thanks for your music and a super trip down memory lane. Robbinsdale Cooper High School – Class of 1985

Denise Flasch Rancour - Wahkon, Minnesota - Monday April 5th, 2010

I was so excited to see the article in the Minneapolis paper that you were going to be back home! It has been a long time since I have seen all of you. I have thought about you all so often and wondered how everyone was doing. I don’t think I have seen any of you since the wedding in Hawaii. I’ve missed your fabulous music and hanging out with all of you. Your biggest fan

Bobbie Halling - Lakeville, MN - Monday April 5th, 2010 7:57 PM

The Jets represent the good times and great performances of the 80's!  I remember hearing them for the first time and telling my friends that this group was going to be HOT! They bring back so many great memories of living in Marshall, MN! It's great to hear the news that they are having a reunion show and hopefully a tour will follow! Their kind of music is much needed today and their talent is endless! Thank you guys for sticking together all these years, and sticking to your beliefs!  God bless you!

Allery Brommer - Marshall, Minnesota - Monday April 5th, 2010

Your music is infectious. I love your sound, the music is very upbeat and consistent. I can’t go too far without listening to the music that gives me fond memories of my youth. Keep up the good work. Please, tour the Washington Metro Area, because many bands entertain the community with Old School, 1970-1980’s hits and it really works for them.

Thalia Sanders - Thursday March 25th, 2010 12:49 PM

It's been a while but I have pictures of the Jets at my parents house, I remember Eddie coming over for fish.  My parents met them at the Venetian Inn on Rice St. when they were still known as Quazar I miss them a lot and I'm thrilled for them and this reunion show!

Cody Stephenson - Forest Lake, MN - Wednesday February 24th, 2010 7:13 PM

"I just recently found your website after a Google search. I was amazed at the content and to find out that the Jets are performing once again. I absolutely fell in love with "The Jets" the summer of 1987 back in New York City. I remember begging my Father to please take me to see them on tour once I found out that they would be performing at the great Westbury Music Fair in Long Island NY. I was amazed to find out that my Father surprised me with two front row tickets. I think he enjoyed the show as much as I did and we both love their music still today.

My greatest memory was of Elizabeth smiling at me while I sang along with her (I knew every single word) and she made sure to shake my hand. A gesture that I never forget. Your music has given me so many great memories that I still treasure. So many years have passed and I continue to listen to my "CD's rather than cassette tapes.
Thank you so much for continued joy with your beautiful voices and wonderful talent. And thank you for a wonderful web site celebrating this amazing group of talented musicians. Continued success and I promise to see you in concert when you go back on tour. Thank you thank you! Your fan forever!

Tony Merlino - Florida - Monday January 11th. 2010 7:32 PM

Love the Jets to this day! At 39, this site brings back so many memories. One of the most unique groups ever! Hangloose!

Becky - New Jersey - Saturday December 5th, 2009 4:06 PM

I have always been a huge fan of the Jets since the mid eighties, and still am today. I live in Blaine, Minnesota and have been to numerous Jets concerts in and around the Twin Cities. I saw Kathi and Haini at the movie theatre at Northtown Mall, and have also bumped into their mom, Vake, at the Cub supermarket in Blaine as well back in 1987. I have so many great memories with all the numerous pictures, cd's and autographs that I have of the Jets. I also have tons of The Jets footage on VHS, including "The Jets in Hawaii", which is my favorite. I am the same age as Kathi - I love to read your blog! I admire their strong faith. God Bless.

God Bless You to the Jets Family!!  You haven't changed a bit. I remember attending your concert at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines in 1987, (in which I still have my ticket stubs) I was only 14 years old!! I was so in love with your music, and your appearance. Being a Polynesian myself, I felt a real connection!! I still have the newspaper clipping when you were featured in the Disney Channel Magazine!! Is that crazy or what? I'm so glad that you've never lost your touch!!  Wow, since I came across your website, I'll have to dig up cassette tape...do people still have cassette players??? Keep up your musical spirit and talents....Representin' Palau in the House!! Take Care & God Bless You All!!

Andrea Bell - Des Moines, Iowa - Sunday November 15th, 2009 3:06 PM

OMW!!! Me & my BFF Monika would sing your songs as we walked to Radford High School, when we lived in Hawaii! We loved you guys! Keep it up and come to Texas so I can rock out!! I am so glad to hear that you still sing!!! Awesome voices!!!! We had crushes on all the guys in the group!! What a wonderful blast from the past! Thanks for the memories!

Chrystina Killeen - Texas - Saturday October 31 2009 9:06 AM

We had a BLAST at the concert Saturday at the Neil Blaisdell....you guys are STILL great entertainers....your performance was definitely the HIGHLIGHT of the evening....was hoping the crowd chanting HANA HOU would've brought you guys back on stage but oh well the show must go on....Just wanted to thank you all for being gracious and showing the Polynesian ALOHA spirit! Just wish I could've met you all personally backstage.

Since I purchased the tickets to the concert several months back, I felt this renewed interest in The Jets. I guess it comes with the age and reminiscent of that time back in the day when The Jets were the talk of the town....ESPECIALLY being Polynesian and around our culture and people. I had sooo MUCH fun at the concert....I came with 3 other people who were very young when the Jets first hit the scene but were familiar with their music and were amazed at how talented and entertaining as well as gracious they were. I had fun doing the OLD SKOOL moves with Moana, Eugene and Natalia along with everyone else in the crowd... Please keep up posted on the website of any new clips, developments, concerts, news.....anything on the Jets! I check the website often since I first found it a few months back and have shared the website with many of my family and friends. Thanks Rob for being our link to this AWESOME group....Im so proud of them!! Mahalo and Faafetai! Much Alofas

Jackie H. - Kapolei, Oahu - Monday October 12 2009 2:33 PM

Hi to all of my Jets fans! First of all I want to say thank you to The Jets for having this reunion in Hawaii! And I want to say thank you to you Rob, for keeping the Jets alive and well on this website for 10 years! Happy Birthday to Moana on October 13th, the day before mine!

Schurr L. - Williamstown, New Jersey - Sunday October 11 2009 8:32 PM

Unlike a lot of you here, I am not a long time fan of The Jets. But even though I haven't known about them for long, they have already made an impact on me. The band is just incredible, the vocals, the videos...all amazing. But it's not just about that, afterall...many bands can sound good and have extreme videos. It's what The Jets have to say in their music, and how they bring it out, how passionate they are about what they are singing, that really touches my heart, as well as the hearts of many others. The band is fantastic, and I am really glad I was introduced to them. A big thanks to Rob, for all his hard work on the site, for showing real passion toward the band, giving them something back. A fantastic fansite with so much information and media that gives everyone a chance to not just listen to what they have to say, but who they are...not only as a band, but as a family. Keep up the good work!

I am so excited to see a website devoted to the Jets! They were one of my favorite groups!!  I hope to see them tour to Northern California. I promise to be there!! Thank you!!  I love this website!

Leiann Kamelamela Olloqui - Vacaville, CA - Saturday October 10th 2009 4:20 PM

I was searching around you-tube vids and came across this band and WOW what memories!!! It sparked my interest and I was like, I need to Google this band, and sure enough a fansite! Good job! If ever there was a band that deserved a site devoted to them its The Jets!

Joe Rodriguez - Monday October 5th 2009 7:48 PM

My group 'RESCUE', had the chance to be special guests of THE JETS in Peoria, Illinois in the late 80’s when they performed at the Peoria County Fair. It was so much fun meeting the group, taking photos and talking with Elizabeth. Rudy was very cool, and he and I hung out and chatted as well. The group truly was such an inspiration to us, and just three years ago I had the chance to see the younger members perform at the Jackson Casino in Northern California where I live now.  I hope this message finds its way to the group and know that your songs have always touched my heart and they continue to bring smiles to my face.

Tony Washington - Stockton, CA - Monday September 28th 2009 1:56PM

You guys are still in rotation on Sirrus satellite radio. The 80's, those were good times because (1) your Family and (2) you guys leave it all on the performance. I get looks all the time as I am commuting down the freeway trying to sing "You Got It All". ;) Hey I am 48 and I still think you folks are on and poppin! I hope to have the opportunity to see you in October.....Duces!!!

Patrick Dillon, United States Navy - Murrieta, CA - Monday September 21st 2009 12:16AM

Wow, has it really been 24 years? I'll always remember The Jets as one of the high points of music in the 80's! Thanks for the memories!

Wow! I have so many fond memories of your music. Thank you so much for that, I hope god will continue to bless you and work in your lives.

Marlo -

I just want you to know how special your music has always been to me. What a wonderful talent all of you have! Your family has had a very special place in my heart from the first moment I heard your music. My brother served a mission in Tonga about 40 years ago, so the Polynesian people became very special to me. What a happy, friendly culture, I just love it!

I had a 21 year old daughter tragically killed 6 weeks before her wedding last year on 8/12/08 in front of my home and she was by far your biggest fan. Her name was Ashley Mortensen. In her personal effects I was able to acquire your ‘Love Will Lead the Way’ CD that she had accidentally (haha) taken when she moved out. I listen to it as often as I can when everyone else leaves me alone in the office. I crank it up and I can feel her with me. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for a special reminder of her almost daily.

I would love to have one of everything you have ever done, that’s how much I love your beautiful music. I am somewhat musically inclined, and I know fabulous talent and that is what I would consider all of you.

Thanks for being such a beacon for anyone privileged enough to hear you.

Melissa S. - Mesa, Arizona - Thursday July 30th 2009, 6:52PM

First of all, I want to thank you Rob so much for building this website for The Jets.  I have been a die-hard Jets fan since I first heard "Crush on You" on the radio at the beach in the summer of 1986, and I still am a die-hard fan. I've had the privilege of successfully sneaky past their security guards on four different occasions to meet them, and I will testify that they are all the kindest, humblest people you can ever meet. I am not only a fan of their music, but I am a fan of them as people. I'm so glad to see that there are other die-hard Jets fans out there. So thank you, Rob!

And to the Wolfgramm Sisters, thank you sooo much for giving us an interview. I frequently visit CrushOnTheJets.com to check for updates, and when I just logged on and saw the first interview in nearly 20 plus years from the Wolfgramms, I was beyond thrilled. I remember buying every single issue on TeenBeat, 16, Bop, etc. magazines as a kid that had Jets photos and interviews. I hope you will continue to keep us updated with your new material.  Jenn, from My Sisters, was so kind to send me a copy of My Sisters personally. It is a fantastic CD, and I continue to listen especially to "Did You Think To Pray" whenever I have a bad day.  And to Moana, you have an awesome sense of humor and a contagious smile. Thank you so much for being such a huge part of my life growing up. I remember me and my cousins sneaking into a sound check one time at a show in New Jersey, and we made fools out of ourselves by trying to show off our (poorly choreographed) "Crush On You" dance that you and Elizabeth used to do. I remember you saying into the microphone "All right! Great job!" hahaha (yeah right, but thanks for having a sense of humor about it!!)  Kathy is also a truly kind soul. Thanks so much for responding to my MySpace messages!! You are the best keyboardist ever!!  Liz, EXCELLENT voice!

The Jets are a huge part of my life. I am currently spending the summer in South America, and when I first began my trip I was feeling homesick for America. In the middle of the night I was browsing through the many Spanish-speaking radio stations that are down here and guess what song I found playing? "Make It Real"!!!  Oh man, I wanted to cry!!  God meant for me to hear it. Thanks God!

Lastly, to Jenn... yes, you DO have a huge fan! ME!  We are all looking forward to getting to know more about you and your other sister who was not a part of The Jets through this incredible music via My Sisters.  My Sisters will be even better than The Jets because you are praising the Lord with the talent he has given you all. Sorry for rambling on and on.  Believe me, I am cutting myself off at this point because I can really go on forever. I cannot wait to see Rudy's film about your family.

Take care and God bless you all!

Good job on the site - I always wondered what they were up to! Now I know. Thanks. Loved this group back in the day - love them enough to look for info on them now.  Jets forever!!  You should do a MySpace for them too! Put up pictures and some of the hits!! Peace.

Calvin - Boston, MA - Friday June 12th, 2009 6:10 AM

Let me say how awesome your family was in the 80's.  I am 42 now, and you guys made such an impact on me.  I worked at the Holiday Inn in Mayfield, Ohio and your family was singing at the Front Row Theater (it is no longer there).  Your show was on a Saturday night and I was working the front desk, and your mom was home having your brother/sister.  All of you got up early on a Sunday and went to church.  I was so impressed.

Branka Kickel - Wednesday June 3rd 2009 9:24 PM

Just found out about your site today! I was a great fan of you guys way back in the 80´s.Just too good to happen twice, I would say!
All the best and thanks for being the joy of our lives in the eightees !!!!!!!!!!!!!

In 1988, I was in the Air Force and stationed in South Korea.  Part of my duties involved security planning for the Seoul Olympics that year.  The Jets performed at the Olympics, and in addition to their Olympic performance, they performed several shows, all for free, at US military bases in Korea.  These were full stage shows, with lighting, costume changes, everything.  It was a significant undertaking for them, we knew it, and it meant a tremendous amount to us stationed there.  Especially considering that most of us couldn't attend the Olympics because of heightened security levels, the Wolfgramm family's gesture brought a little of the Olympics to us.  I have never forgotten what they did, bought their CDs, and remain a fan of the Jets to this day.

I have been a fan since 1987 when you all were on Disney's Special "The Jets In Hawaii."
My mother and I new some of your relatives that lived in Maplewood area(St Paul). We had gone to a Lula at one of your relatives( I think her name was Kathy) which some of you came that night, but I missed you cause I was on a date with one of you cousins( I think his name was Mike) and we had left, and we also sang karaoke with another relative, I think his name was Totie. You inspire me when I was younger, and the music and the way artists dance today, I barely listen to music anymore. I have 3 daughters that just heard some of your music this morning and they love your music. I have been trying to find "The Jets In Hawaii" and for the life of me, I can't find it anywhere. Do you know where I can find a DVD or VHS(I will buy a VCR if needed) so my children can see this? I hope you all are doing well and Have a Merry Christmas. By the way, I can't say have a favorite. You all are very talented and I enjoyed every song you have made.

Happy Holidays!

What else can I say? I just love The Jets. Now that I have been "rediscovering" their songs after many years, I can say that indeed, their musical artistry is undeniably great. I am very happy to know that they continued to pursue their love of music. I just hope that they would come back to the Philippines to do a concert once more.

Mark- Malolos City, Bulacan, Philippines - Mon Oct 13th, 2008 7:23am

You all still look great after all these years. None of you have aged, what happen to me?
Oh well. It's good to know your still putting great music out there. I still have your C.D's in my SUV & my 13 year old loves them. Keep it coming please. I have to mention my husband reminds me often that Rudy was my 1st true crush. Anyways, I wish you all the best & abundant blessings. Thanks for all the fun.

Malo Lelei to the JETS!

I just got off YouTube watching some of your videos and reminiscing...I was a child of the 80's and your music is just "Magic" I remember when you came to New Zealand and held a couple of concerts at local stake centers...yeah! that was the ol' skool. I must admit, being Samoan, I along with so many other ISLANDERS were sooo PROUD of your band and what you stood for, it was truly inspiring to see the amount of success you enjoyed back then, and the amount of talent you possessed...truly AMAZING! I THANK YOU "Jets" for the gift of your music...come back to New Zealand man, it would be a DREAM to hear you all LIVE...May the good LORD continue to bless and keep you all, Ofa Lahi Atu

George Fesolai, Otara, Sth Auckland, New Zealand - Mon June 23, 2008 4:05 PM
I have heard that logistically it would be very difficult for the original Jets to make another album, but I can tell you this...
I would LOVE to have it!!! I first heard the Jets back in high school, and I thought that their music was pretty good. When I bought Magic, I was HOOKED! Just the difference musically between the two albums was incredible! You could hear the music becoming more intricate as the group matured. My fav song from that album was "First Time in Love". The chord progressions supported by Haini's funk-jazz style grooves underneath was just AWESOME! And with "Special Kinda Love" you can hear a more mature sound once again. I listened to the song on my laptop and thought that it was okay. I hooked my computer into my stereo and heard the song, and ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! Ohhhhhhhhh I wish I wish I wish there would be another album of original music by the original 8...I would snap it up in a second!!!!

Hello there, I was and still is a big fan of The Jets and I was just looking at some of the videos of back in the day. I always felt that your family was one of the most talented groups I have seen in a long time. So I was wondering what are the Jets doing now, and I looked you guys up and see that all of you are doing very well. I haven't had the chance to hear Natalia's voice, but my sister has, and she said that Natalia sounds even better than Elizabeth did in her Jets days. Now for me that is an ultimate compliment because I always thought that young Elizabeth had one of the best voices of the 80's even at that age. But I'm not surprised because I think all of you guys are very talented. So I'm going to listen to Natalia and enjoy another Wolfgramm voice.

Dennis Reed - Sat, March 29, 2008 11:22 AM

The Jets:

Thanks for the great memories I have from your music.  Those were the days!  I never knew till now the story of the band, but, it was obvious back then that there was something different about you.  Mainly, you kids had class and didn't behave like other rock stars do.  Your positive values were so unique for being so popular.

I pray the Lord keeps your family together and happy always.
P.S.  That lead singer...the short cute one?  I really had a crush on her!

God Bless,

The Jets!!!  Wow,

Hello to all of the Jets.  I just wanted to say that I am a fan of you all from back in the 80’s.  I know that was another time and phase in all of your lives but that is what I remember.  You all are a beautiful family and seem to be spiritually grounded.  All of you ladies of the group are beautiful, I really had a crush on Moana and Liz back in the day.  You two are about my age so that’s probably why.  I wish you all much success.  I would love to hear from you all!!!  Natalia, you don’t need American Idol, you are a Jet!  What a legacy.

Montez Parker - Baltimore, Maryland  Mon, March 24, 2008 11:55 PM

WHAT A WONDERFUL WEBSITE! I don't think I can find the words to express how much it meant to me to find this website! I swear, I should have been adopted by the family, with as much time as I spent with the original group in a 5 year period. I became somewhat close to Liz and Eddie. ( Yes, I was one of those silly girls who was going to marry Eddie and have his kids...so my son's middle name is Edward. Close enough for me.)

Thank you so very much for keeping the group alive. They will always have a place in my heart and in my life. It's what makes America what it is. People we don't really know getting us through the most awkward times of our lives.

Thank you again from a dedicated fan,
Cheryl Roller - Columbus, Ohio  Sun Mar 9 14:25

You guys are great I love every song you've done!

I want to wish each and every single member of the Wolfgramm family much love, peace, and happiness this holiday season. I wish them radiant health and abundant prosperity in the next year.

Maybe someday they'll all do some sort of reunion act or record!

Savannah Brooks Fri Dec 14, 2007 2:13pm

Hi Savannah;

Glad you found the site! Yes The Jets did two videos for Square One, Infinity, and Prime Number. They were geared towards motivating kids to learn math.

LeRoy is indeed married.....so sorry your too late! ;o) He and his wife Ana and their three boys reside in Arizona, and he is still very involved with music. I'm not sure about the country genre though. ;o)

I was hoping to get some update interviews for Christmas but unfortunately it looks as that will not happen, but look for an explosion of re-modeled pages to come back on-line during the month! Thanks for visiting!

Rob - Webmaster Tues Dec 11, 2007 8:05pm

Hi! I have always loved the Jets. The best gift I could have received this holiday season was obtaining
this website! Anyway, I seemed to have remembered seeing them once back in 1986 or'87 on a public
television show called " Square One" that was dedicated to teaching various forms of math. Am I correct? Also, Leroy was my personal favorite. What is he doing now? Is he married or have children of his own? Where is he living? Is he still producing music? If so, has he ever considered trying country music? I am currently awaiting my own "Big Break" in this field with my own submissions. THANKS ahead of time for your response. Sincerely

 Savannah Brooks Tues Dec 11, 2007 3:22pm

Loving the Christmas updates! Wishing the Wolfgramms and all their fans a very Merry Christmas!

To start, I am a huge Jets fan and I have been for many years. I was wondering if you can tell me a song that was sung live by them. I am not sure of the name of it. On there Disney Special Live In Hawaii, it was the second they performed. I have not yet, heard this song recorded as a studio song. What would be the name of this song? Can you please let me know.

Hey Jets, I have been a fan since the first time I heard Crush On You playing on the boardwalk in Wildwood, N.J. back in 1986. I was 11 years old back then, and I still listen to your music even to this day at the age of 32. Moana is my favorite. She is so incredibly nice and has a warm, caring smile. I also want to say hello to your sister Jennifer! She's another beautiful soul of the Wolfgramm family. And Liz as well! You all sound so beautiful on the My Sisters Love cd. God is certainly happy with your work!

Very truly yours,

Mike D., New Jersey Fri August 24th, 2007 17:59

P.S.-- Check out this Jets clip from 1986. It brings back so many memories!

A Texas sized Happy Birthday to Liz! If I could get to a concert that you might be performing at with your younger siblings, I would! Much love and blessings for a long healthy life for you, your siblings, and your children!

Happy 35th birthday Elizabeth Wolfgramm! I would just like to say you had an incredible voice then, and you still have it now. The way you sing with soul, it brings joy to other peoples faces, Congratulations!

It is August 14, 2007 and I would like to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY Eddie Wolfgramm! I wish I knew what your were up to now, you're the only one I never heard from. It was very amazing way back in the day how you were able to play the keytar, keyboards, congas, and the drums. That was also the reason I started listening to the eight of you guys. Congratulations!

Omar Smith, Phillipsburg, NJ Tue August 14th, 2007 at 6:04

Hello to all my Jets fans! I just got back from a recent Jets Concert at Lucius Woods In Solon Springs, WI. It was like a trip back into the 80's and I had a ball! You really can see The Jets still perform today and the best thing of all is that I met them and received a signed autograph picture of them and even danced onstage with them! I also met another Jets lover fan that liked them too! Thank You, Rob for this website and keepin' The Jets alive! Jets fan Forever!

It is July 19, 2007 and I would like to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEROY WOLFGRAMM!!! You were always the one to encourage your family to do the right thing and lead them in the right direction, and for what you have done Leroy The Jets will always be remembered as the best family band ever.

Omar Smith - Phillipsburg, NJ. Thu July 19, 2007 at 19:40

Hello Elizabeth, Kathi and Moana Wolfgramm. I just want to ask the three of you some questions what's laying on everybody's minds right on. Everybody's wondering if we ever going to hear from you guys again? It has been along time that y'all been out of the spotlight. When the 90's came around the group totally disbanded and never heard from again, I want to know why is that? I can see that the lineup done went through allot of changes things hasn't been the same since. Everybody knows the group was going through some personal problems and it caused y'all to drop out of the spotlight for so long. I wonder if The Jets will ever get back together again? I'm talking about the eight original members. Elizabeth, Kathi, Moana, Leroy, Eddie, Rudy, Eugene and Haini the members who I'm speaking about right now. I know it's never going to happen not anytime soon. Y'all were the best family act of the 80's. It doesn't matter how much thinking and praying that I do the original members will not be getting back together again. Elizabeth, Kathi, and Moana so how you guys been doing for y'allselves over the years. It's good to know that y'all still alive and well. Doing really good I suppose. I want to know if it's really 17 kids in the Wolfgramm household or it's more than 17 of y'all. The world has never forgot about The Jets. The music you guys made in the 80's will live onto people whoever heard of y'all and even listen to y'all. I hope to see and hear from you guys again soon.

I'm so glad that I came across this great, interesting site after clicking on a link at Wikipedia. I believe that the Jets are my favorite teen pop group of all time and one of the best ever. I'm also glad that the younger siblings have been given their chance to shine as well on the latest album. It would be great if both the new and original members got together and collaborated in concert in the future. I just bought their best of cd by 20th Century Masters: The Millennium Collection, hours ago and I love it, even though I can't recall hearing any of their material when I was little. From all I've read, the Jets seem like a great bunch of outgoing folks to hang out with, and keep up the great work on this site! I can't wait till the other sections of this site are redone and completed!

Unfortunately there are no DVD's of The Jets. AIRPLAY was released in laser disc format back in 1989 and is hard to find. Besides the fact you would need a laser disc player as well. Hopefully someday Disney will release "The Jets In Hawaii" on DVD or at least re-broadcast it for everyone to re-record again! We can also wish upon a star that AIRPLAY get released on DVD!

Hello ,I was just wondering...,What happened to the original group members and if they will go on tour again. I'm a little older than the 80's I started playing when I was 19.I loved those songs !During the 80's I got my first synth .I'm a bass player ,and I got the sheet music for "you got it all". This I'll never forget. It was the first time that I realized I could read and play the song! I'm self taught. I've always looked at the structure as well as "feel" of the music. The choice of chords in" you got it all "and the actual song on the radio ,I liked the style. I know there were more songs that I have never heard, and I would like to find them. If anyone can give me a Holla back I have never planned on getting into "the business" Thank God! I wish all The Jets great success always sincerely Derrick

The Jets are still my favorite group of all time. I remember at one concert I went to, at the end, they all threw flower leis and I actually touched Haini's hand. My god!! That's still one of my best memories. I love this site!! The Jets are awesome!!

Hi. I've enjoyed reading the biography, listening to the discography, viewing the videos, and ANXIOUS to have THE JETS & JETS17 here in San Diego. Back in the year 1999, the Pacific Islander Festival Association extended an invitation to have Kainga Wolfgramm a part of our PI movement of cultural celebration thru out the nation and the world. Do visit our PIFA website at http://www.pacificislanders.com. Click on the pix and see what PIFA has done to support PI artists. Poly's in southern California have enjoyed going to VIEJAS CASINO and danced the night away to the HOT RHYTHMS of Rudy on the drums, LeRoy on the guitar, boards, & horns, as big "H" pulls the bass, and Moana singing with such beauty and grace. SOUNDS of THE JETS. We even enjoyed viewing the skills of Brown, Mataele, & Watane rise to the occasion. We love you. GO HUGE...FOR ALL DA FANS!! e-bak Rudy and/or LeRoy. It's me Silika.

What a colorful and comprehensive site! I've just gotten back into listening to The Jets again lately. (Most of my vinyl collection of their stuff is at home...but recently I have gotten a few of the albums on CD to listen to where I'm currently living). It was great to finally find out about the "Love People" and "Love Will Lead the Way" albums! I remember a couple of years back when VIBE magazine did a nice tribute to The Jets, and they mentioned these albums. I have been trying to find these albums ever since, but they are so elusive! But it's good to know that they actually do exist AND are by OUR Jets (and not the other rock group of the same name). Keep up the good work!

WOW, I've finally found a site on "The Jets" ....I've been a huge fan of the jets for years. I attended their concert here in Auckland in 1989!! ... and they also attended my school. Its sooooo exciting to see what they are up to now .... this is an excellent site Rob.... I wish to meet the Jets especially Elizabeth and Moana as I'm the same age as them. When I first heard of the Jets, I wrote a letter asking if Rudy was a girl or a boy (only because we don't have many boys here by that name ... and I didn't know it was being shortened!@#$%@!) ... and I was amazed to get a reply - a hand written letter from Moana .... I felt really humbled by that. Elizabeth's husband who I just found out is Mark is an awesome artist as well - both Mark's and The Jets music are continually played down here in NZ. Why don't you guys have another concert here????? pleeeeeeaaaaase To the new Jets (Jett17) ... all the best, I'll definately be listening out for you. God Bless Love You Guys I'll be checking the updates Rob ... Thanks

I have been a fan of THE JETS ever since mid-1986. I first heard "Curiosity" at the roller skating center in my home town. When it was played for the first time, everyone was on the floor both skating and dancing. Every song THE JETS performed is a classic and a hit. Thank you: Moana, Liz, Kathi, Rudy, Haini, Gene, Eddie, and Leroy for making great music during a very turbulent period in my life. I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT YOUR MUSIC SAVED MY LIFE. Thank you!
